Please read these terms carefully before using CareFundGlobal. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CareFundGlobal ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, campaign organisers, and donors.
2. Use of the Platform
CareFundGlobal provides an online crowdfunding platform that allows individuals and organisations to raise funds for charitable, medical, community, and personal causes. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not use the Platform to raise funds for illegal activities, to deceive donors, or to misrepresent the purpose of a campaign.
3. Account Registration
To create a fundraiser or make a donation, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@carefundglobal.org if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Campaign Organisers
If you create a fundraising campaign, you represent and warrant that all information provided is accurate and truthful, that you have the legal right to raise funds for the stated purpose, and that funds raised will be used solely for the stated purpose. CareFundGlobal reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any campaign at its sole discretion. Campaigns that violate our policies, contain false information, or are deemed harmful will be removed without notice.
5. Donations
All donations made through the Platform are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. By making a donation, you authorise CareFundGlobal to charge your payment method for the amount specified. Donations are generally non-refundable except in cases of fraud or where required by applicable law. Please review our Refund Policy for full details. CareFundGlobal does not guarantee that donated funds will achieve the campaign's stated goal.
6. Fees
CareFundGlobal may charge platform fees on donations processed through the Platform. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you complete a donation or create a campaign. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe are separate from CareFundGlobal's platform fees and are subject to Stripe's own terms and pricing.
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CareFundGlobal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content from the Platform without our express written permission. By submitting content to the Platform (including campaign descriptions, images, and updates), you grant CareFundGlobal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) submit false or misleading information; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation; (e) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform; (f) use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Platform; or (g) engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user's use or enjoyment of the Platform.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CareFundGlobal does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not verify the accuracy of information provided by campaign organisers and make no representations about the legitimacy of any campaign.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CareFundGlobal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12. Changes to Terms
CareFundGlobal reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Platform or by sending an email to registered users. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
